Hello!! I was not thrilled with the exercise. I guess I think of people and loved ones often in my quiet time so it was just kinda a normal thing. It might help some people to wind down and relax but I already can that pretty easily. In fact today I have been doing it a lot!!! I even dream of the future and the day I can buy a house and a new car. I have been working out a little and it is feeling really good. That alone when done in a quiet place is mentally rejuvenating to me. I think about things and people while I work out. A mental work out is to get you used to sitting or laying down in a quiet place and thinking happy thoughts. It is to make your mind focus on certain things and relax.

I rate myself on a scale of 1-10 like this;
Spiritual 7
physical 5
psychological 8
I feel like I can take more time on each of these in order to increase my rating. I get so busy with school and work that I am exhausted and do not take enough time on myself. Spiritually I can take more time to read my Bible and pray in my quiet place. I will make a goal to do this for at least 15 minutes each day, physically I will make a goal to walk my dog each day. I walk all day at work and literally do not want to exercise anymore when I get home so I will make a small goal for now and I will commit to working out on my exercise equipment I have in my basement for 10 minutes each day. Psychologically, the spiritual and physical will increase my psychological health alone. I also know that school helps me psychologically. I will try relaxing in a quiet place as a daily goal.
The relaxation exercises are kind of strange but interesting. I have done a tense and relax exercise often to relax each muscle and really like it the best.

I found the relaxation part.
Okay, I found it! Amazingly enough I felt the warmth and heaviness in my arms and hands and it did relax me. My whole body felt relaxed and it did make me want to go to sleep. I should probably do this when I am not so tired. I thought this would be good for me to do before bed time because I sleep very tense at times and get tension headaches.

Hello, I am from Lansing, Mi and I will graduate in June with a bachelor of science in health care. I will continue on to master in public health. I would like to be an epidemiologist. I really like learning and especially about public health. I have 2 children, Heaven is 6 and Daniel is 4. They are my babies and I love them so much. I also have 6 step children that I love dearly. I have one dog and 2 birds. I love to shop and spend time with my family. I am ready to get a new job and use what I have learned these last 4 years. I love swimming, going to the beach and looking at pretty flowers. I love to travel and have been to 38 states and 2 other countries.
